IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING OUR RATE BASE*
We used to have a higher rate that included 4 folks in our stays...in 2005, by popular demand, our rates were rolled back to a base of just 2 adults.  
PLEASE NOTE: for family's coming to stay with us your rate includes the first 2 children  (18yrs and under) complimentary.   
 
 ADD'L ADULTS BEYOND 2: $10/night/person
 ADD'L CHILDREN BEYOND THE FIRST 2: $10/night/person   
 
As we do not discriminate based on age here at Dreams to Sea, but welcome all folks young and young-at-heart to come to stay...we ask that you please note that young folks coming for "young folk getaways" not take advantage of this 18 & under children's policy. In these cases rates are based on 2 adults with all other folks counted as additional guests...
Alternatively, 
we also ask that adults not attempt/nor ask to take advantage of the complimentary children's policy...it is designed to assist family vacation budgetting. Any extra adults beyond the initial 2 and regardless of the number of children joining, or not joining, are at a rate of $10 nigthtly.

PLEASE NOTE:
 Add'l persons charges are ultimately finalized at check-in folks. 
Our rates (unless otherwise stated) include your first 2 adults only. Families are offerred complimentary stays for the first 2 children.  All of our units comfortably sleep 7 to 8 folks. If you are travelling with a larger group of folks we happily welcome you. And though final numbers can only be finallized and charged for at check-in, if you wish to know the total based on your approximate group/family size , just give me a call and we can add it up for you. Otherwise, if you still arent certain the final numbers and are only able to approximate numbers (after all life is changeable), you can just let us know at check-in as to how many folks could or couldnt make it and we can adjust your rate accordingly for you at that time.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

     
Regular Rates Cancellation Policy 2013:
For reservations booked under our regular rates...25% of the base rate (before taxes and add'l persons charges)  is due as a deposit/booking fee and is wholly non-refundable from the point of booking.
 
Special and/or discounted rates Cancellation Policy 2013;
To secure your special and/or discounted rate, payment in full is due at the point of booking and is wholly nonrefundable from that point
 
Please note further:
  For stays not cancelled at least 72 hrs prior to check in, as well as for guests who "no show" and for guests who wish to depart earlier than their scheduled departure day....guest is held "fully" responsible for all days reserved. In the event that the room be re-sold (occupancy must be at 100%) all unused monies, minus the deposit due, will be refunded to the guest. NOTE: FOR 1 WEEK and longer stays, we require atleast 3 full weeks notice for cancellation. 
 
 
And further to that:
That said, if you can't make it for your preferred dates, your deposit/booking fee maybe used towards your future stay within the calendar year folks (non-transferable). We just know you are going to love The Island and Dreams To Sea so soon as you get the chance, won't you come see us!!
 
Final note: 
A credit card is necessary for all bookings to be confirmed.  We do happily welcome deposits by postal money order and cheque as well. Please call.
 
 

 

Check-in and Check-out times:
     in:    3:00p.m. 
    out: 10:00a.m. 

At Dreams To Sea we do not hold strict check-in and check-out times as do most accomodation businesses. We just aim to keep our reservation schedule smoothly flowing so that we can be ready for each guest as they arrive. We do our very best to guaruntee your 3pm check in time but earlier or extended check in /out times ($) are entertained whenever possible folks. Please do not hesitate to inquire. 

*For early check ins, we ask that guests please call  1(902)629-5755 to make arrangements on the morning they are due to check in.  

*For late checkouts, please inquire directly at office the evening before departure day.
 

Pets Policy

Pet stay rate is $15 per day. As for a pets policy here at Dreams To Sea, we neither really have nor don't have one. Your four legged family members are welcome with us here at Dreams To Sea.  It goes without saying that folks traveling with their pets, must be fully responsible for any incidents that may occur while they stay with us and must clean up after their pet.  This alsoincludes sweeping the cottage up to keep pet hair at a minimum.  Pets are to be kept in the main living area only and must not be permitted in bedrooms or on beds.  We ask, simply, that the family be respectful of other guests who may be staying with us at the same time by keeping pets on a leash at all times while using common areas (this includes the walkways, driveways, and yard here at Dreams To Sea).  As well , pets should NEVER be left UNATTENDED in your cottage for  free cottage-roaming...kennelling only). 

Airport or Bus Station Pick Up:
Airport or bus station pick up is available for guests...Please call or email us to arrange. For backpacker stays, we welcome you to borrow a bike from our bike rack as you sightsee around our pretty Island. 

Laundry n Linens:
At Dreams To Sea your housekeeping cottage is fully stocked with all your bed, bath and kitchen linen. We do happily provide a complimentary linen laundering and/or maid service upon request. 

The main building is home to our laundry room where you are welcome to stop by to throw a load on in...or let us take care of that for you with our in-house laundry service.  Fees apply.

 At Dreams To Sea we have various services and amenities and extras such as gourmet coffee service, movie rentals and bicycle rentals, and sooo on...

When we first opened and began to offer these services we had suggested rates for each different item or activity with all monies going to Children's Wish Foundation. Due to feedback from our guests (we thank you all for your input) we have now decided not to suggest costs for these services but, to,
however, ask that if you choose to enjoy any of our added extras that you might consider a donation to a really great cause while you enjoy.
As all services are optional so also is donating folks. As much as we welcome your help with a great cause, we also welcome all folks who wish to use these services and amentities to do so simply by stopping on into the office.  

 

Any or all monies collected
whether great or greater, small or smaller folks (after all every penny helps) are more than welcomed folks
and
will be donated on your behalf to the Children's Wish Foundation 
as we join in the
annual WishMakers Parade in the autumn.
